Kinetic Equine Medicine has expanded its diagnostic capabilities and now offers on-site digital radiography for horses requiring advanced imaging of the neck and back.
Using modern digital systems, we are able to obtain a comprehensive cervical and thoracic radiographic series, including C7/T1 in most horses—an area that can be difficult to image but is often clinically significant in performance and body lameness cases.

Why This Matters
Radiographs remain an essential diagnostic tool when evaluating horses with:
Neck or back pain
Performance decline without clear limb lameness
Suspected axial skeleton involvement
Complex or non-localizing lameness
Having the ability to acquire high-quality digital images on site allows for more efficient case evaluation and better clinical decision-making, particularly when neck, back, or pelvic dysfunction is suspected.
Introductory Radiography Offer
For a limited time, Kinetic Equine Medicine is offering an introductory rate of $800 for a complete neck and back radiographic series.
Please note:
Exam fee, sedation, and haul-in fees are not included, if applicable
Offer valid for scheduling through February 28, 2026
This offer is intended to support thorough evaluation in appropriate cases and is available to horses already under the care of a general veterinarian, consistent with our referral-based practice model.
A Diagnostic Tool Within a Whole-Horse Approach
At Kinetic Equine Medicine, radiography is one component of a broader diagnostic framework. Our work centers on the neck, back, pelvis, and whole-body biomechanics of the performance horse. Advanced diagnostics, including imaging, are used alongside careful assessment of posture, movement, and function to identify the primary drivers of discomfort and compensation.
Our goal is straightforward: to help horses move better, feel better, and perform more comfortably through accurate diagnosis, targeted treatment, and individualized rehabilitation.
For questions about whether radiography is appropriate for your horse, we encourage consultation to review history and clinical context.
